Hotel Klastrom is housed in a landmark building with a centuries-old history, set in Győr’s baroque town center. The former monastery and church, built between 1714 and 1721, carries the characteristic features of the Baroque era, and its square floor plan is completed by a charming inner courtyard.

The hotel’s rooms are arranged in three wings. Rooms in the west wing overlook the bank of the Rába River and Radó Island, while the remaining rooms look out onto the building’s quiet inner courtyard. In designing the rooms, we paid special attention to preserving the original atmosphere of the former monastic cells while providing the comfort expected by today’s standards.

The hotel has a total of 41 rooms, each with its own bathroom and equipped with a minibar, television, telephone, and air conditioning. Several rooms also feature a seating area with a sofa. Archive photographs on the walls evoke the appearance of Győr from 80 to 100 years ago.

Guests of Hotel Klastrom are welcomed by a 24-hour reception, where our staff is happy to help with activity suggestions and recommendations for cultural events. Free wireless internet access is available throughout the entire hotel, and a private parking area is available in front of the building. Our hotel is not wheelchair accessible; our rooms can only be reached via stairs.

Dining Options with a Unique Atmosphere Our guests can enjoy a uniquely atmospheric restaurant that seats up to 80 people, where breakfast is served, and groups can also be accommodated by prior arrangement. The 50-seat beer cellar, set in a stone-paved, vaulted cellar, primarily serves as a venue for pre-arranged events, small functions, and gatherings among friends.

Inner Courtyard

The inner courtyard, with its special atmosphere, features a terrace for 40 people, ideal from spring until late autumn for breakfasts and outdoor events. Concerts and programs held here provide our guests with a memorable experience.
